Carmel River State Beach - Stewart's Cove - Middle Beach - Wedding Rock - Monastery Beach -Roberts Beach are all under the State Park system. There is a fee for using these sites beginning at $225 for a wedding without chairs, arches, musicians, etc. The fee increases as these items are added. The State Park require a $1,000,000 insurance policy to use these sites, Carmel Weddings carries this policy - our fee is $75 for this insurance.
If you are having a small wedding, 10 people or less, Carmel Weddings can assist you at these locations for the State Park Fee of $25. Of course we are not allowed to have decor such as arch and chairs for the ceremony at this price.
Carmel Beach requires a permit for any wedding - even for just 2 people. The fee is about $700. There are no arches, tents, canopies or umbrellas allowed on the beach.
The beach does have beautiful sand, and beautiful beach views.
Carmel Weddings has worked with the city of Carmel since 1981 ensuring that both the city and the wedding parties are satisfied with the events .
Lover's Point and Berwick Park in Pacific Grove are also lovely places to be married. The City of Pacific Grove requires a fee of $450 of which $150 is returned to you after the wedding.
Other venues are available, just ask about your options. There is an additional fee to go south of Carmel to Big Sur, rate depends on how far south we have to travel

Confidential California Marriage License $250 Notary available to issue marriage license on the spot, no waiting, day of wedding if you like. Carmel Weddings will file your license with the State of California after your wedding. About 14 days after license is filed, you will receive one Certified copy of your marriage license, compliments of Carmel Weddings. ----------
Our award winning, internationally recogized photograpahers take over 100 pictures, high resolution and put them on a DVD for you to have. If you would like them for extra time, their fee is $200 per hour.

**Because Carmel Weddings wants each couple and their guests to enjoy their wedding, we require that each custom designed wedding have at least a 4 hour wedding coordinator on site at a fee of $85 per hour. This ensures that everything runs as smoothly as possible.
Of course, you can work with your Wedding Coordinator Kathee, Raechel or Joel to
customize your wedding to be just the way You want it.

As a courtesy to our professional ministers, photographers, musicians and other professionals involved in your wedding who may have another engagement, a late fee of $25 for each 15 minutes that the wedding is late may be added to the cost of the wedding. The wedding photos and or marriage license may be held until all fees for your wedding/reception are paid. When you aagree to hire Carmel Weddings to plan your wedding ceremony, you agree to these late fees.
