Marian Fischer was the wedding coordinator at the world famous Highlands Inn in Carmel Highlands for over 20 years when the Inn tore down the Wedding Chapel in the late 1970's. Throughout her years at the Inn, she assisted thousands of couples from all walks of life begin their lives together. Many of them are still in contact with her family today.
Her love for helping couples have the wedding of their dreams led her to begin Carmel Weddings in 1981. Along with her husband Bob, who was a local police officer for over 30 years, they worked together assisting brides and grooms have the wedding they always dreamed of.
Marian's passion for helping people showed through in her devotion to helping couples have affordable, beautiful weddings at many locations throughout the Monterey Peninsula. She was well known in the community as the 'Original Wedding Coordinator' of the area.
Marian and Bob are gone now. Daughter Kathee and granddaughter Raechel carry on in the tradition they established. Confidentiality, professionalism and compassion are among the many qualities that Marian brought to Carmel Weddings which are still being honored today.
